**Job Summary**

This position is responsible for leading a team of Active Ingredient (AI) AI Master Planners to review and upgrade the demand/supply/inventory balanced plan generated by the Planning system (IBP Supply solver) and other validation means for Global Active Ingredients throughout the entire 36 months horizon. Upon supply plan aligned, he/she is to direct the Master Planner for supporting during the execution phase with collaboration from concerned functions. He/She is the first escalation point for overseeing any supply chain planning issues and to drive the resolution for achieving the business goals of the company as articulated by the Supply Chain Planning Director.

**Dimensions:**

Leads a team of up to 1-3 supply chain professionals.
Be accountable for the plan of AIs portfolio manufactured/tolled/purchased at sites, amounting to ~10-15AIs, > 3000MT AI and strategic raw materials/intermediates.
Managing supply chain planning processes for over ten suppliers/contract manufacturers/tollers and own manufacturing plants for AI supplies to all FMC regions.

**How You Will Help Us Succeed**

- Maintain frequent discussions with Global Supply Chain, Global Procurement, Operation, Technical Center, Global Marketing, Tollers, Contract Manufacturers, AP suppliers,
- Intermediates and Raw Material Suppliers, Regional Supply Chain teams to:
identify and resolve demand, supply imbalances, and determine optimal resolutions to address unplanned opportunities and issues.
- fulfill demands of active ingredients and address any potential upsides / downsides.
- Be the resource of information on sourcing of active ingredients and other related inquiries.
- lead resolution efforts and direct inter-plant movement and order fulfillment during periods of allocation.
- work closely with Logistics team to assist/ understand on open issues in relation to customer complaints, logistic, compliance with regulations that related to the manufacture, packaging and labeling of pesticides and relevant chemical intermediates to ensure efficient and satisfactory resolution.
- Manage SAP system and IBP Solver on demand forecasting to cover AI production, intermediates, and RM requisitions.
- Work together with Global Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain leadership to develop scenarios planning to respond to demand fluctuations accordingly as well as develop action plans to prevent or mitigate risks on AI and RM supply.
- Manage and optimize global inventory levels in line with the company goals.
- Track, communicate and deliver monthly inventory performance and year-end projections.
- Actively participate S&OP processes and lead the monthly Supply Consensus Meeting, GSR and Pre-S&OP Meeting.
- Frequent communication with Tollers and Suppliers to deliver forecast and different scenario planning; verify production schedule, on-time deliveries, and related issues.
- Support the Global Regulatory team for all issues related to the AIs he/she is responsible.
- Frequent interact with Procurement, Tech Center, R&D, Ops and Business partners and/or own manufacturing plant to review, make decisions and follow up on QAR plans related to qualification of new sources of AI, intermediate and raw material.
- Frequent discuss with Supply Chain Director to routinely review the financial implication of the planning scenarios and explore options to improve overall financial performance.
- Drive continuous effort to identify opportunities to improve supply chain agility. - Measure KPI’s to foster continuous improvement in performance.
- Actively participate the sourcing strategies development and ensure supply security with anticipated financial benefits.
- Manage multiple sources of active ingredients and raw materials planning for inter-plant movement and order fulfillment.
- Participate in supply chain projects toenhance the effectiveness and efficiency of GSC planning activities.
- Support and deliver cost reduction / process improvement projects related to AI sources.
- Support the development of annual budget volumes for the Supply Chain organization and responsible for its implementation.
- Support the product standard cost budget process including, process fees, raw material costs and capital project investments.
- Review, implement and execute any new tollers/contract manufacturers’ contracts agreements and design supply chain processes for the new source.

**What You Will Bring to Us**

- At least bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or Business Management. Advanced Supply Chain or Project Management Certification preferred (CSCP, CPIM, CPM)
- 10+ year experience in the chemical manufacturing industries with multi-national companies; focusing on supply chain, engineering or other technical background preferred.
- Experienced supply chain management professional, well versed in Sales and Operations Planning as well as production planning, inventory management, Logistics, and procurement areas.
- Exhibit strong SAP user experience/knowledge with on PP/PE module. Advanced Planning software knowledge a plus.
Deep financial understanding and ability to complete routine cost / benefit scenario analysis.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems based upon limited information.
