Your role
Have you successfully planned, organized and controlled all test activities? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined test goals and implementing the testing? Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements?
We-re looking for a Senior QA / Test Automation Specialist to:
- design, build and perform manual and automated tests for our application-s new features and end-to-end journeys
- build and perform and maintain automated regression tests
- understand the bigger picture (end-to-end impact assessment) to identify and predict issues early
- liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the bank including international locations
- comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans
Your team
You-ll be working in the Wealth Management Investing delivery team based in Zurich. We analyze, develop and deliver global solutions to maintain or change our IT systems with our business counterparts. As a Senior QA / Test Automation Specialist you'll play an important role in ensuring the development methodology is followed, and lead technical design discussions with the architects. Your expertise
You have previously held a similar testing role, for at least 6+ years within the finance sector:
- experience of working in Agile teams
- strong background in use case interpretation (translating from BA to Test cases)
- passion for delivering high quality/delightful user experience
- able to build and perform automated regression testing for project, product and PRV (Production Readiness Verification)
Essential Skills/Experience:
- knowledge of Defect Analysis, Prioritization, Regression Testing
- proven Test Management know-how and ability to work with both BA's and Developers
- requirement Traceability Matrix (mapping stories to test cases)
programming languages (JAVA expert knowledge and Python Basic Knowledge)
- high experience in Selenium, Rest API, SOAP API, Postman and web testing
- strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Beneficial skills:
- Non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability
- Test automation tool: Test complete
- Testing tools such as JIRA, X-RAY
