Description
The HSEC Program and Systems Manager will support the ongoing improvement of the processes associated with Glencore-s Health, Safety, Environment, Communities & Human Rights (HSEC&HR) strategy including related technical standards, procedures and guidance, and strategic projects. This role reports to the Group Manager HSEC and Human Rights Reporting and Assurance.
**The Role:**
* Contribute to the simplification and continuous improvement of Glencore-s Health, Safety, Environment, Social Performance & Human Rights (HSEC&HR) strategy, technical standards and guidance.
* Build and maintain an overview of all HSEC deliverables and priorities, including internal reports, systems, assurance and frameworks.
* Manage the group HSEC programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
* Build and maintain relationships with, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management to ensure alignment, communication, and buy-in throughout a project lifecycle.
* Prioritize, plan, and oversee multiple HSEC&HR projects across the group, ensuring that resources, budgets, and timelines are appropriately allocated and adhered to.
* Track and report on project progress, performance, and outcomes, ensuring all deliverables are met and within scope.
* Prepare documentation and presentations for management and key stakeholders to a high and polished standard.
* Overall group management of department-s output in coordination with internal teams and departments.
* Provide support and group-level monitoring of performance related to HSEC&HR KPIs and targets.
**Our Ideal Person:**
* Experience managing multiple or large-scale programs and systems with complex deliverables.
* In-depth knowledge of HSEC regulations, policies, and industry standards. Familiarity, background, and skills in HSEC&HR management systems, governance, and performance in a global multinational environment
* An experienced professional who is collaborative and comfortable adopting practical solutions with a solutions-oriented attitude.
* Extremely organised, with a clear, methodical approach to work.
* Ability to independently manage multiple projects, with the ability to respond swiftly to changing priorities
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and creative problem-solving capability.
* Fluency in English, with proficiency in German, Spanish or Russian is advantageous.
**Minimum requirements**
* Tertiary Qualification in Sustainability, Health, Safety, Environment and Social Performance.
* 5 - 7 years of experience in managing health, safety, environment, and community programs or projects, ideally with operational experience.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
* Experience with international standards
