**CONTEXT**

A position of Senior Product & Trade Compliance Expert (100%/) in the Regulatory Team (RT) of the Group Product & Trade Compliance Department (GPTC).

 

As a function-head department, GPTC provides regulatory intelligence, risk assessment, as well as project management and compliance solutions to Richemont Group internal stakeholders (e.g. Maisons, Regions, Group Functions). The Department spearheads a functional network of more than 40 Product & Trade Compliance professionals across Group entities. It helps secure compliance across our supply chains & entities on multiple Product & Trade compliance topics, such as Sanctions, Customs Regulations, FTAs, Due Diligence on Materials Sourcing (EUTR, UFLPA, etc.), Product Compliance (i.e. ESPR, EU Batteries Regulation, Chemical Regulations, etc.), on a worldwide scope.

 

**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**

You will join a growing department of motivated -intrapreneurs- willing to push excellence in their fields.

This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position and may include other duties as assigned, but areas of focus will be as follows:

 

* With the help of our Regional PTC teams & external consultants, you will conduct and coordinate on your fields of expertise, regulatory research on new product & trade compliance regulations, analyze theirs requirements, assess the related risks and business impacts, follow escalation processes. You will specifically work on trade compliance topics like Customs Regulations, CBAM, Extended Producer Responsibility, but also product compliance topics EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulation.
* Publish top-management level memos and other types of publications such as guidelines, directives, tools, vulgarization materials, enterprise social media postings, deliver training (webinars, classroom, etc.) to support project teams delivering solutions to implement compliance.
* Acquire/develop/maintain/deliver expertise on product & trade compliance regulatory fields to support our international stakeholders day-to-day. Help our Maisons to launch new products or to access new markets.

* Build a network of external stakeholders (industry associations, consultants, authorities) to help clarify regulatory changes and build compliance solutions for our businesses.
* Coordinate taskforces and workshops to support our businesses reaching compliance.
* Reflect & participate on the general continuous improvement of the services delivered by the Regulatory Team (regulatory intelligence, regulatory content production, conformity assessment processes in Maisons, etc.).

**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?**

 

* Strong research skills: especially in regulations (through OSINT, regulatory databases & tools).
* Strong analytical skills: ability to summarize regulations and key impacts on both high-level and fine details. Ability to quickly assess and interpret new regulations, understand the bigger picture and easily translate raw risks to business impacts and solutions.
* A high level of accuracy & attention to detail.
* Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills and strong visual/aesthetic presentation skills. You can deliver effective and engaging presentations (structure, design, the tone of your voice and the body language you convey).
* Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, understand stakeholder perspectives, and effectively articulate ideas and strategies to Group Management. The ideal candidate will be confident and persuasive in presenting information, fostering alignment, and influencing decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
* Strong agility, you-re motivated to learn new capabilities based on the needs of the department.
* You can work autonomously with minimum guidance, but you have a strong sense of team playing, a consultative and cooperative way of interacting.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* At least 5 years of experience providing consultation, performing research, content writing in an international environment in the field of Trade Compliance / Risk Management / Regulatory Affairs / Corporate Affairs / Legal, preferably in the field of Consumer Products, Supply Chain Services, Trade Compliance Consulting firms.
* A Master of Law or Economics (preferably obtained from an EU, Swiss or US University)
* Excellent oral and written communications skills in French and in English.
* SAP and SAP GTS experience is desirable.
