In this exciting position based in Geneva or Lausanne, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Your Responsibilities
- Manage audits of company(ies) headquartered in Switzerland and/or subsidiaries of multinational groups, including integrated audits under PCAOB and ISA auditing standards of companies reporting under US GAAP and IFRS accounting frameworks
- Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients' satisfaction
- Proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the year
- Direct daily fieldwork, inform Senior Managers and Partners of the engagement status, and manage staff performance. Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams and listen/respond to other team members' views.
- Coach more junior audit team members on accounting and auditing matters.Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, accounting, or finance with a recognized CPA qualification (Swiss, US, or equivalent)
- 5–7 years of audit experience including at least 1 year in a managerial role leading international audit teams
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience collaborating across functions (e.g. IT, Tax, Valuation)
- Excellent communication skills in English, proactive mindset and strong organizational abilities
- Proven experience in audit documentation, accounting analysis and mentoring junior team members
- Knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards and data analytics is a plus; team-oriented and client-focused mindset essential
