Research Assistant in Synthetic Biology



Your responsibilities


Responsibilities

* Performing standard and high-throughput molecular cloning experiments in E.coli
* Conducting cell culture experiments to benchmark our novel genome editors in various cell types.
* Conducting quantitative PCR (qPCR) and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) experiments with subsequent data analysis and interpretation.
* Operation and maintenance of critical lab equipment; ordering and restocking of reagents
* Basic data analysis and documentation of procedures and results




Your profile


Qualifications

* Laboratory Technician (vocational training), B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent
* Good understanding of molecular biology and related laboratory techniques.
* Hands-on experience with molecular cloning techniques, including PCR and gel electrophoresis.
* Experience in cell culture techniques, including maintaining and transfecting cultured cells.
* Good knowledge in MS Office suite (Teams, Excel, Word, OneNote, and Power Point)
* Good communication skills in English
* Prior experience with Illumina sequencing methods is a plus.
