Repair Engineer
**YOUR CHALLENGES**
* Provides in-house advanced level technical support to analyze, troubleshoot and repair VAT products
* Provide highly visible customer support through in-house repairs
* Operate and maintain operational quality of system equipment
* Serves as a customer contact for technical matters for the project at hand
* Serves as a liaison with the Product Groups about product challenges in the field providing detailed feedback for troubleshooting, service, repair, and product improvements
* While working in-house you will monitor and maintain the service workflows ensuring customer turn times
* Write concise, clear failure reports for distribution to the customer.
* Leverage VAT ERP system and tools to select parts necessary for repair and order from the spares depot
* Complete the repair and test the product to factory specifications
* Creates and ensures Standard Repair Procedure (SRP)
* Provide feedback to the factory regarding VAT and Competitors products
* Must be available to work overtime including weekend and weekdays as required
**YOUR COMPETENCIES**
* 5 years relevant work experience
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
* Ability to lift 50 pounds with frequent lift/ carry of 25 pounds and to stand on your feet for extended periods throughout the workday
* Strong mechanical assembly, analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
* Understanding of Basic Electronics
* Ability to function independently and multi-task
* Computer skills - proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office applications
