JOB DESCRIPTION:



We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our office in Lugano, Switzerland. This role will report to the Executive Team in Lugano and will support various key departments, including Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales. Preference will be given to candidates who are available for an immediate start. The position requires a commitment of 42 hours per week.



The main responsibilities include coordinating all activities needed to achieve and maintain the required quality standards for our products and services. The role ensures these standards align with both customer and company expectations. Key duties involve overseeing and advising on the performance of the quality management system, generating data, preparing performance reports, and comparing these results against established benchmarks. This position is accountable for all aspects of Quality Management within TEK Group SAGL and its global subsidiaries.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:




  1. Develop, maintain, and provide training on IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems.
  2. Coordinate the quality department's activities and those of related departments across production sites in China and Malaysia.
  3. Lead internal and external audits for ISO 9001:2015 at the company's headquarters in Lugano.
  4. Support quality activities at dispatch points in Europe and the USA.
  5. Manage customer audits.
  6. Supervise a team of eight people (four in Malaysia and four in China).
  7. Monitor global customer complaints and manage 8D reports, coordinating all parties involved.
  8. Utilize key problem-solving tools (Ishikawa diagram, 5 Whys, 4M, etc.).
  9. Prepare monthly reports on quality claims and costs associated with poor quality.
  10. Create and manage PPAP and APQP documentation for customers.
  11. Oversee customer portals.
  12. Conduct process analysis and improvement initiatives.
  13. Manage the importation of chemical products (sealants) to the EU and monitor quantities.
  14. Collaborate with external chemical consultants to stay current on laws and regulations.
  15. Provide quality and technical information support to the sales team.


Skills and Qualifications:




  1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least five years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in the automotive sector.
  2. ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification.
  3. Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA, and AIAG standards.
  4. Proficiency in IATF 16949 core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
  5. Strong leadership abilities and effective time management skills.
  6. Fluency in both written and spoken Italian and English.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and a strong commitment to achieving company objectives.
