Scintilla AG is responsible for the global development, manufacturing, marketing and coordination of distribution of accessories for power tools for the trades, for industrial applications and for DIY.
## Job Description ##
You are responsible for product development (from idea to series production) for the -Wood & Metal Drilling-- Accessories product segments.
* You develop and improve analytics and test procedures.
* The Implementation and coordination of product tests as well as evaluation of the results is part of your work.
* You proactively participate in product manufacturing process projects and launch teams.
* With your technical background you research and analyze relevant technical information and patents to derive concepts.
* You are curious of understanding our customers and market needs (UX) and derive technical features from it.
* With your open personality you closely cooperate with product management/marketing in cross-functional teams and with external partners (manufacturers, universities, engineering companies, standardization committees).
## Qualifications ##
**Education:** Bachelor or Master Degree in the field of mechanical engineering or technical studies
**Experience and know-how:** At least 3 years professional experience in a similar position, experience with manufacturing processes and product development projects, knowledge in 3D modelling preferably ProE/Creo, experience in measuring technology and test methods
**Personality and working style:** Very good analytical and self-organization skills, high solution orientation and creativity, hands-on mentality and interest in craft activities, entrepreneurial mindset
**Willingness to travel:** 5-10%
**Languages:** Excellent in German and English
