That-s what makes us Roche. Roche-s Clinical Development organization is structured by therapeutic area and is responsible for developing and executing the late development (Phase II - III) clinical strategies and plans that deliver medically-differentiated therapies that provide meaningful improvement to patients. The OpportunityAs a Post-Doctoral Fellow, you will:Be exposed to Phase I through Phase III clinical studies for primary Genentech/Roche compounds;Interact with key external experts and clinical investigators;Participate in clinical strategy, implementation and molecule management meetings;Be involved in Medical Data Review for ongoing trials and supporting protocol development; Assist in the decision-making surrounding therapeutic candidates coming into clinical development and mechanism-of-action studies leading to potential diagnostics for existing and planned clinical development;Participate in and prepare abstracts and presentations for key external conferences; and Support Clinical Scientists and Medical Directors in their study team meetings or clinical team meetings. Who you areA PhD in a relevant field such as metabolism, diabetes, obesity or a related disciplineExcellent understanding of how to frame a research question, execute a clinical study, and interpret the results from a cross-functional perspective. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearlyFluency in EnglishYou have been actively engaged in scientific research continuously since your PhD and are ready to start the postdoctoral activity no later than 4 years after completing your PhD.When does it start?The start date of this fellowship is in May 2024, or on availability.
