As a Manager, New Project End-User Sales, you play a key role in convincing ship owners to specify Accelleron equipment on the engines in their marine newbuilding projects. Together with the Sales colleagues in the assigned ship owning countries, and together with the Sales colleagues responsible for the involved shipyards and engine builders, as well as the Application Engineering colleagues for the involved engine designers, you formulate, document and present relevant unique selling points when and where decisions are made and bring the business home. This involves both turbochargers for main engines, as well as auxiliary engines. In addition, you ensure acceptance of our digital solution for the newbuilding phase, Turbo Insights.


Your responsibilities:

Ensure maximum achievable decision rate (market share) for Accelleron equipment for both main and auxiliary engines in the assigned ship owning countries

Drive internal cooperation in the newbuilding sales projects in the assigned countries and coordinate actions towards the various external stakeholders, when and where they are needed to win the business

Ensure maximum acceptance of Turbo Insights, our digital solution for newbuilding customers

Conduct market research and collect and distribute market intelligence to detect trends and signalise events that could create opportunities, or pose threats

Create convincing presentation material to highlight relevant unique selling points


Your background:

Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through working experience

Genuine interest in and affinity with the marine industry, including a thorough understanding of the business of the various players in it, such as ship owners, ship managers, shipyards, engine designers, engine builders and turbocharging rivals

Agile, result-oriented and self-driven, with the ability to see opportunities and the courage to seize them

Collaborative approach with strong communication and presentation skills in English; German or any other languages would be a plus

Willingness to travel globally
