Our client, a leading international player in the consumer goods industry with modern offices in the Zurich area, is looking for an energetic, open-minded and ambitious Material Planner (d/f/m) in a temporary assignment starting asap till the end of this year.

## Description du poste ##
As the Material Planner (d/f/m) you will be part of a dynamic, fast growing, and strong supply chain organization. The responsibilities of the selected candidate include the following:
* Reviewing next eight-week gaps by expected delivery dates
* Identifying order priorities and following up with suppliers by e-mail; and call suppliers to get confirmation on order delivery dates
* Reporting updates back with orders on time / delays, and partner with the material schedulers & transportation team by site to firm plan
* Monitoring and facilitating inventory control for the owned stock and stock owned at TPM's through continuous follow up and alignment with predefined targets
* Managing the inventory levels by analysing excess or blocked stock and defining, installing, and following up of effective tactics, in cooperation with different stakeholders
* Responsible for the periodic inventory reporting
* Guarantying the inventory-accuracy at a plant level by monitoring the reports.
* Coordinating disruptions locally at vendors
* Processing SAP movements for stock returns, sample-requests, sales orders, and stock-relocations
* Proposing corrective actions and processing improvements to support continuous improvement initiatives
## Description du profil ##
In order to be considered for the role, you must have:
* Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree preferred, ideally in Economics or Supply Chain, Operations and/or Management
* 2-3 years of working experience preferably in material management/planning
* Previous experience within an international and fast paced environment
* Professional user in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
* Previous experience with SAP is required
* Solid English skills (verbally and written) required
* Highly analytical profile with proactive and problem-solving mindset
* Ability to think end-to-end when analysing problems and resolving project conflicts
* Independent and taking ownership
