Description
The Lead Design Engineer Harness is responsible to:
Lead design, development and production of the aircraft electrical schematic diagrams and aircraft electrical wiring diagrams
Liaise with the suppliers of cables, connectors and associated materials for aircraft use of selected parts
Advise technical and certification risks and suggest solutions based on experience of selected electrical cable and harness components
Support aircraft build and test from an electrical system cable and harness design point of view
Qualification & experience
University Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Aerospace engineering
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical system cable and harness development and installation for fixed or rotary wings platforms
Experience of development and production of 2D aircraft installation and sub-assembly drawings and 3D harness routing and installations
Familiarity with EASA and/or FAA certification requirements
Familiarity with cables, connector & harness design and qualification requirements
Familiarity with:
Aircraft 2D software tools, NX knowledge an asset, Capital Logic knowledge a plus
Aircraft 3D software design tools for harness routing and installation, NX knowledge an asset
Team Center usage an asset
English language at minimum B2 level (written and spoken)
