Description
In this role you will be responsible for Indirect Sourcing Manufacturing & Technology, in the Value Chain Function. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing sourcing strategies, cooperating with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders to increase Accelleron’s profitability. You will join our great team in Baden, Switzerland, and will be reporting to the Global Head of Indirect Sourcing.
Your responsibilities:
• Develop a depth of category knowledge to establish effective sourcing strategies for indirect sourcing with focus on Manufacturing (Equipment CAPEX and Maintenance, Tooling & Devices, MRO, Secondary Packaging) and Technology (R&D, Test Center, External Labs) , ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Articulate and implement sourcing strategies, ensuring all relevant parties understand and execute processes accordingly.
• Partner with functional leaders to manage the supplier relationships of strategic vendors such as driving Quarterly Business Reviews, accounts reconciliation, performance reviews (KPI monitoring) and issues resolution.
• Engage with up to 100 internal stakeholders on key sourcing initiatives requiring a proactive approach that is: relationship oriented, customer focused, analytical, creative and dynamic.
• Position the purchasing performance to substantially increase the value of the Indirect Sourcing function and the profitability of the Company.
Your background:
• University degree Master of Science in Engineering or Economics
• Proven track record in comparable position of 5-10 years with significant experience in Indirect Sourcing
• Analytical capabilities to perform analyses on spend and market data, and supplier proposals
• Excellent leadership skills and collaboration with various stakeholders
• Pro-active, entrepreneurial and strong decision maker
• International exposure with multi-functional, matrix environment and intercultural experience
• Experience in digitization and sustainability preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Good networking and social skills
• Fluent written and spoken in both English and German is a must.
