Do you want to join Philip Morris? We are looking for a meticulous Engineer to support prototyping developments of RRP devices in the Aerosol Engine Research group of the RRP System Innovation team. The position will mainly consist in embedded C firmware and software programming. The candidate will bring knowledge in embedded FW programming, sensor integration and characterization, and handle demanding time constrains.

 


  • Develop all firmware module aspects (firmware code, algorithms, test cases) and provide technical expertise to meet functional requirements.
  • Execute experimental work such as perform sampling, testing or verification, consolidate and review the generated data.
  • Support device prototyping and test-bench implementation.
  • Apply education/experience principles and practices for supporting development activities by proposing, implementing, or evaluating new algorithms, sensors or concepts.



 


  • Education: University degree (MSc or PhD level) in the field of electronics, physics or similar
  • Work experience: 3-5 years in electronic device FW development activities, preferably hand-held devices for consumer electronics, or for medical or automotive applications would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of MCUs (ideally STM32) internal operations and hardware block (UART, RTC, ADC, DMA,…).
  • Direct experience in FW and SW development, ideally in C. Experience with HALs, sensor integration and data transfer. Experience in Machine Learning for embedded systems, and RF circuit design and operation would be an asset.
  • Hands-on approach, proactive and solution-oriented mindset, open-minded, agile, dynamic, curious and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in English, both written and oral.
