Your Mission:

Where technical depth meets business impact: Reporting to the Digital Director you will be responsible for driving the digital transformation, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our eCommerce – websites and eShop – for Salt and its sub-brands.

In your role, you will own the digital innovation & transformation roadmap and lead cross-functional initiatives to continuously evolve our digital presence and online sales experience. Together with the Digital team, you will ensure that our customers enjoy a simple and enjoyable sales experience, with no frictions or complexity.

The ideal candidate should have a technical background, ideally engineering or similar, with several years of experience in working in Digital or IT organizations of fast-paced environments. Experience in agile methodology is critical, as well as excellence in collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Your duties:

  • Drive and contribute to the mission of the Digital team to increase online sales
  • Own, define, execute the strategic vision for our digital transformation roadmap to evolve the customer experience of our eCommerce – websites and eShop – for Salt and all its sub-brands
  • Lead technical-heavy projects from definition to execution together with the IT department aimed at enhancing sales performance through new features, simplification or UI enhancements, among others
  • Translate market trends, data insights, digital and/or business needs into clear technical requirements for our IT team and developers
  • Prioritize the backlog of our websites and eShop, in collaboration & alignment with multiple stakeholders across the organization, based on what maximizes business impact
  • Work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders, designers, data managers, developers, and IT analysists to deliver the prioritized features and improvements in a timely & high-quality manner
  • Act as the liaison between technical teams and digital team, translating technical complexities into actionable improvements to increase conversion rate
  • On request, participate on new CMS releases to push the newest development to production and validate correctness of new features or improvements
  • Together with the Digital team, build, execute and follow up the improvement plan to fight against any conversion killer & work on continuously improving conversion rate across brands & products
  • Foster a strong collaboration culture with all teams, including IT, marketing, finance, care, among others – and ensure that improvements on digital platforms from other teams (such as Care) as well aligned with your efforts & complement each other

What you bring:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Digital Analyst or Digital Manager with hand-on expertise in digital/ web/ eCommerce environments
  • Solid technical understanding of web and mobile platforms, able to work effectively with IT teams & understand technical constraints
  • Combined with the technical background, a strong business understanding and a passion for innovation & problem-solving
  • Experience working in agile, with familiarity using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Looker to work closely with our Digital Analytics Manager and drive data-driven actionable improvements
  • Strategic, creative and data-driven thinker who enjoys a challenge and relentlessly looks out for continuous improvements & puts the customer at the centre of all we do
  • Ability to work in a high pace environment, under time pressure and adjust to new directions – and actually enjoy it!
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of collaborating with & managing both business and technical stakeholders. And at the same time ability to work independently to drive projects forward
  • Strong English & French speaking & writing skills. German or Italian are a plus
