Our client, based in Vaud,

Reporting to he Methods, Facility & Planning Manager, you will be involved during specification and preliminary design phase, in the detailed design phase and after serial go phase.

Day-to-day, you will work closely with teams across the business to bring ideas to the Process Engineer or the PIM to guide product definition in order to improve the product manufacturability and achieve QCD targets and muchmore.




Your responsibilities :

* Contribute to tender phase, especially in product design and industrialization to take into account industrial constraints and requirements in order to optimize costs and minimize risks.
* Contributes during specification and design phases to technical solution decisions associated to special processes.
* Interact with product engineering to redirect the design if necessary.
* Build the special processes REX and interact with product engineering to redirect the design if necessary.
* Manage industrial risk through Process FMEA and associated improvement action plan.
* Define requirements and rules for associated tooling necessary to start production.
* Qualify the product/process pair as well as industrial means to be put in place in line with the design.
* Ensure deployment and validation of new processes in line with project planning.
* Issue relevant documents in the Quality System.
* Guarantees internal control and good application of process rules in line with customers' requirements.
* Support Sourcing and Supplier Quality teams during quality crisis.

Your profile :

* Engineering degree in chemical or material mandatory
* Knowledge and willigness to work also in mechanical process engineering activities
* Ideally Training and Qualification as EWF 517-01 European Adhesive Engineer.
* French and English required
* Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering: writing manufacturing work instructions, task sequencing, tooling specification.
