Reporting to the CFO, the Celonic Group is seeking a highly motivated Head of Controlling, that desires a significant opportunity to improve worldwide access to biotherapeutics. The primary focus of this job is supporting and advising the Business on financial matters, leading the controlling team and getting involved in the analysis and monitoring of Business and functional costs. This highly qualified candidate will be a member of the Leadership Team of the Finance organization and act as an interface with the relevant Functions. He/She will collaborate closely with Customer Program Management and Business Development Team, as well as other functions to support decision-making and create transparency on all business and enabling functions fronts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and further strengthening the controlling function/teams at the two locations (Basel and Heidelberg).
- Supporting decision-making by providing insights and transparency on sales, gross profit, all types of spend, capitalization and FTEs et al.
- Acting as a point of contact to support CEO, CFO and other designated teams in preparing business and financial analysis to enable decision-making.
- Leading the entire budgeting and planning process for the group and its companies.
- Supporting CFO with respect to the monthly close of the legal entities and the consolidation.
- Preparing and analyzing costs of the consolidated monthly Financials
- Leading, coordinating and presenting financial results to different Business Partners, which includes actual performance, outlook, budget and risks and opportunities.
- Monitoring upcoming and ongoing strategic investments (CAPEX) projects
- Responsible for internal controls and financial risk management related to the controlling function.
- Building strong relationships with senior managers and their teams
- Driving innovation on reporting and systems (new dashboard / new reports)
- Driving simplification and standardization across the function, in terms of reporting, planning and analysis as well as finance and related processes.

Job Requirements:
- Degree in a Finance related field.
- Advanced experience in finance, business analysis-related functions (minimum 5 years).
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication.
- Solid organizational, planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and general computer skills
- Fluent in English.
- Hands-on leader with strong business acumen dedicated to operational discipline, a strong presence and lead-by-example.
