## Job Description ##
EMEA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's dynamic team in Zug.
As the Senior Accountant, you'll maintain financial stability across multinational entities, oversee daily accounting activities, ensure compliance with tax and mercantile obligations, and provide essential financial insights to senior management.
**An insight into the role: **
* Manage daily accounting activities, utilising analytical or cost accounting methods, to ensure adherence to tax and mercantile obligations
* Provide analytical support, forecasting, and reporting, including the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for senior management
* Ensure correct monthly closure of accounting books
* Process and prepare financial statements in accordance with established standards and guidelines
* Conduct audits on financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Report and address any discrepancies identified during financial analysis or auditing
* Identify, design, and propose solutions and emerging technologies to streamline treasury processes and reporting
* Propose and implement initiatives to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost reduction in financial operations
**Desired Skills and Experience:**
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in corporate accounting, taxes, and social security regulations
* Understanding of IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER standards
* Experience in group account consolidation
* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
* Proficiency in English and Spanish would be valued
