For our estimated client, we are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager, with excellent stragegic ability and strong leading skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee both the strategic

and operational aspects of logistics operations. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing the logistics team, coordinating with various departments including Procurement, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance, and ensuring efficient and effective distribution of products to company customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

o Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business growth and

operational efficiency.

o Analyse and optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve service levels.

o Design and set up the new distribution and logistics center “North of the Alps”.

o Establish KPIs and metrics to measure and improve logistics performance.

2. Operational Management:

o Oversee daily logistics operations, including inventory management, order

fulfilment, and transportation.

o Ensure timely and accurate shipment of products to customers.

o Manage relationships with logistics providers, including negotiation of contracts, rates and service agreements.

o Coordinate with the warehousing team to ensure efficient storage and handling of products.

3. Team Leadership:

o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 logistics professionals.

o Foster a collaborative working environment with cross-functional teams

(Procurement, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance).

o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

4. Process Improvement:

o Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

o Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

o Implement technology solutions to streamline logistics processes and improve

accuracy.

5. Compliance and Risk Management:

o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in logistics and

supply chain operations.

o Develop and maintain safety protocols and procedures for logistics operations.

o Manage risks associated with logistics activities, including transportation delays and inventory discrepancies.


Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

 Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.

 Proven experience in both strategic planning and operational execution in logistics.

 Strong leadership and team management skills.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Proficiency in logistics software and technologies.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
