## About Our Client ##
Our client, a leading international player in the consumer goods industry with modern offices in the Zurich area, is looking for an Indirect Procurement Manager - IT Category (m/f/d) for their IT division for a six months project to start immediately.
Depending on the performance, as well as on the motivation of the candidate, there is a high possibility for a takeover or a permanent assignment.
## Job Description ##
The Indirect Procurement Manager - IT Category (m/f/d) candidate will serve as the main contact between the business/stakeholders and suppliers, supporting procurement and contracting activities such as pre-qualification, tender, and auction management. The selected candidate will implement the source-to-contract processes for all goods and services, provide feedback for improvement, and execute global sourcing initiatives by carrying out the following tasks:
* Executes Source-to-Contract tasks for projects within a set threshold, working closely with corporate and global stakeholders to identify requirements.
* Implements source-to-contract elements of global category strategies for specific business units as directed by the global stakeholders.
* Identifies savings opportunities through data analysis, ensuring service targets for quality, cost, and time are met.
* Supports supplier qualification and development to maintain a strong supplier base.
* Ensures adherence to standard briefing and specification templates.
* Follows procurement processes and systems, supporting continuous improvement.
* Collaborates with corporate responsibility to ensure sustainable sourcing solutions.
* Ensures compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
* Monitors supplier performance.
## The Successful Applicant ##
In order to be considered for the role, the ideal candidate must have:
* Successfully completed academic background
* At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role with indirect categories, at least 2 years within the IT category
* Previous working experience in a fast-paced environment
* Source to Contract process knowledge
* Business fluency in English, any further language would be a plus
* Professional user in MS Office
* Advanced SAP skills (understanding End to End process flow)
* Strong negotiation skills to secure the best possible terms and prices
* Analytical thinking
