**Position Summary**

 

We are looking for an **Imaging Associate Specialist**, to develop comprehensive imaging solutions from atomic scale to satellite imaging for food science. This role involves mastering techniques such as AFM, light and electron microscopy, and spectroscopy, while leveraging internal capabilities and external collaborations to provide valuable insights that drive scientific development and innovation in various projects.

**A Day in the Life of an Imaging Associate Specialist**

 

* Providing insights utilizing state-of-the-art sample preparation methods and imaging techniques to perform structural analysis on a variety of food products and packaging materials
* Collaborating closely with specialists, project managers, and experts to plan, carry out, and deliver technical and scientific support for various projects
* Contributing to the development of new imaging methods, writing scientific publications, and maintaining and improving the team's technical capabilities
* Providing training and support to colleagues, ensuring the quality and quantity of image analysis, and promoting cross-fertilization between different sites
* Leveraging internal capabilities and external partnerships to drive scientific development and innovation in projects

    

**What will make you successful**

 

* Food Sciences, Material Sciences, or equivalent with considerable professional experience with Light and Electron Microscopy in a research environment
* Knowledge in hyperspectral imaging, atomic force microscopy, spectroscopy and data post-processing would be an advantage
* Good knowledge of Python and image processing softwares
* Up to date knowledge of safety and GLP requirements
* Strong and effective communication skills in English with an ability to present your results to a non-technical audience in a precise and concise matter
* Open mindset and motivation to join cross-functional teams and activities
* Demonstrate creativity and initiative
