Location: Bern, Basel or Zürich, remote Workload: 80-100% Your tasks: As a DevOps expert and in collaboration with your colleagues, you support, upgrade, and deploy OpenShift Container Platforms and/or Tanzu Platforms. You are also responsible for various tasks surrounding application deployment, automation, CI/CD, GitOps, and DevSecOps. Interactions and cooperation between development teams and IT operations professionals are essential. This role thus requires technical and communication skills and the capability to work in a team. You are provided ongoing training while you gain experience with our customers to help you reach the cutting edge of your field, including: The main Linux distributions Networking and storage solutions Containerization, Kubernetes Helm or similar package managers Ansible and automation/configuration practices IaC, Git, and GitOps principles CI/CD - e.g. Gitlab CI, ArgoCD Monitoring & observability - e.g. Prometheus Stack Your profile: You have a good understanding of the Cloud Native technologies and CNCF landscape. You have proven experience (at least 3 years) in deploying, managing and supporting container platforms, specifically OCP and/or Tanzu. You have performed advanced investigations to troubleshoot and resolve incident on the low-level Kubernetes components such as CNI, CSI, CRI. You are used to working as part of a team and know the usual and agile project management methods. You are a native German speaker and fluent in English (proficiency in French is a plus).
