**Background:**
The perfect candidate is a seasoned Senior Linux Software Engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science and over five years of experience developing customized Linux distributions, specifically with Debian/Ubuntu. They must also have extensive front-end development experience with React or Angular. This individual is a quick-learning team player with a "can-do" attitude, possessing a deep understanding of software building, testing, and packaging, and is able to communicate complex technical information in advanced English.

**Tasks and Responsibilities:**
* Contribute to Medical Instrument / Software Development Projects with technical knowhow
* Development and maintenance of in-house linux distribution and open source tools
* Linux Software and Hardware troubleshooting, debugging and root-cause analysis
* Work on developing our hardware test farm and the debian build tool (Molior)
**Your Profile:**
* Master in SW Engineering or other degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (min. 3 years)
* More than 5 years of experience as a Senior Linux Software Engineer
* 5+ years experience in developing customized Linux distributions
* Strong Development experience in React/Angular (5+ years)
* Proven experience with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu) (5 years)
* Strong knowledge in Operating Systems and Software building, testing, packaging
* Team player with a -can do- attitude, quick learner, enjoying problem solving, ability to work independently
* English: advanced, ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
**Nice to Have:**
* Experience in Kubernetes, Python
* Debian package building
* Experience in Embedded Software, Hardware Drivers, ARM Platform, hardware / software integration
