## Job Description ##
EMEA Recruitment is delighted to work with our client, an international business within the life sciences sector, to recruit a Senior GL Accountant for its Accounting team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful team within a company that offers excellent internal development opportunities.
This role will give you exposure to different business departments from Finance, to FP&A and Business Operations.
**As Senior GL Accountant, duties will include:**
* Preparing general ledger entries in accordance with accounting standards (US GAAP)
* Prepare financial reports, balance sheet reviews and analysis
* Perform monthly and quarterly closings
* Maintain the fixed asset register
**The ideal candidate:**
* Strong experience within an Accounting role - ideally within a multinational
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
* Experience working with both Big 4 audit firms and multinational companies is preferred
* General understanding of taxation (both direct and indirect taxes)
