**(Senior) Embedded Software Project Lead (m/f/d)**

In this new position, you are contributing to the next generation of Process Automation devices. This work is a cornerstone of realizing the GF Piping Systems Process Automation Strategy 2025. As an Embedded Software Project Lead, you will play an important role in ensuring the projects are delivered in time, budget, and quality. As the subject matter specialist, you will have to coordinate many tasks across an internal and external partner network globally.
**Your tasks:**
* Lead the development of embedded software in close collaboration with the Software Architect, the Project Manager, teams abroad, and external partners
* Define work packages, and tasks and develop timelines
* Actively driving the implementation and tests
* Regular communication and status updates to stakeholders
* Ensure quality as well as efficient and timely delivery
* Responsible for maintaining the Embedded Software Development Process and it is followed
* Developing and testing embedded software for selected cases
**Your profile:**
* Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science, or comparable
* A minimum of 5 years experience in developing embedded software and leading embedded software projects in an industrial environment (is a must)
* Experience in Scrum or similar agile methodologies
* Sound experience in modern C++ (C++ 11 and higher) as well as with Python
* Sound experience with ARM Cortex MCUs
* Experience with embedded OS
* Experience with digital connectivity, eg. PROFNET, EtherNet/IP, ModbusTCP, IO-Link, or similar field buses is a plus
* Experience with cyber security, eg. IEC62443-4 is a plus
* English on a very good level is a must, German would be an asset
* **A valid work permit for Switzerland or at least an EU-citizenship**
