The growing complexity of the Animal Health (AH) industry environment requires an evolution in the finance business partnership approach in order to ensure AH is perceived as differential in the way we create shared value with our key stakeholders.

Animal Health Associate Director Financial Planning & Analysis (m/f/d) for Switzerland Market ( part of D-A-CH cluster) is responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly operating results, financial forecasts, and other reports for use within the Swiss Market and D-A-CH Cluster. In the role, the individual will interact with different stakeholders such as Leadership team, Commercial and Marketing teams, Finance colleagues, Prague BSC, Swiss hub team accounting team, Animal Health regional Finance colleagues.

The job requires developing a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s operations, accounting and compliance policies, procedures, supporting systems and reporting tools. The candidate must have the ability to analyze, select and summarize essential information and present and explain the key elements to Senior Management, while meeting stringent reporting deadlines.

The successful candidate will work very closely with business to develop an excellent understanding of business leading to a valued contribution to business decision-making.


The ability to drive, lead, challenge and influence at a senior level is essential.


Duties and responsibilities:

· Participate in and support the financial planning processes by providing timely
and high-quality analysis and data analytics to commercial leads.

· Track performance against forecasts to understand and clearly articulate the
drivers of performance.

· Evaluates country financial results to ensure optimization of resources – making
trade-offs across the business to identify opportunities and ideas for ensuring the
appropriate investments for maximized return as well find drive solutions to
minimize/avoid risks.

· Act as trusted partner with commercial business units and leads to support
optimal business decisions with a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end
company operations.

· Work collaboratively with Business Support Center and regional finance to align
and deliver local market finance and business objectives.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company
mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity.

· Lead different projects and initiatives with focus on areas for improvement within
the team and identify and drive efficiencies as appropriate.

· bring a high level of energy and desire to contribute to the high performing
finance team in DACH cluster and EURAM Region.

· Proactively challenge and drive continuous improvement of existing processes
through optimization, standardization, and simplification

· Lead and/or participate on special projects and initiatives representing AH
Finance to drive new capabilities and efficiencies.

· Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and track record in adherence to Company
policies, procedures, and financial fiduciary

· Be a “person-to-go” for diverse ad-hoc finance/data management related matters,
commercial projects, and any finance ad-hoc requests.


Skills and Competencies:

· Bachelor or Master degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration,
Accounting or Finance.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance experience.

· Data Analytics and Data management skills

· Advanced Excel, ideally with modelling expertise (SAP Knowledge is an advantage).

· Knowledge of SAP/COMET/BPC/LPT is preferred.

· Strong business acumen and working knowledge of applications/business
processes.

· Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, under pressure and with
a high degree of professionalism and independently, capable of handling multiple
projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Highly engaged, collaborative and a strong team player able to create positive
relationships across teams and functions.

· Strong communication (written and spoken), interpersonal, and organization skills
required.

· Desire to continuously learn and continue professional development.

· Ability to work independently, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines
simultaneously.

· Fluent English (speaking and writing), German knowledge is an advantage
