## Job Description ##
* Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private equity, real estate, and alternative investments.
* Prepare detailed investment reports, financial models, and valuation analyses.
* Assist in conducting comprehensive due diligence on prospective investments, including market research, competitive analysis, and financial performance evaluation.
* Coordinate with external advisors and consultants as needed.
* Monitor existing investments, track performance, and provide regular updates to the CIO.
* Assist in the development and implementation of portfolio strategies to optimize returns and manage risk.
* Prepare regular investment reports and presentations for the CIO and family members.
* Maintain and update investment databases and records.
* Work closely with other team members and external partners to support the overall investment strategy.
* Support the Family Principal with any ad hoc analysis requests
* Participate in investment committee meetings as required and contribute to strategic discussions.
## The Successful Applicant ##
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification, such as a CFA or ACA, is strongly preferred.
* 2-5 years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within a family office, private equity firm, asset management company, investment consultancy, or investment bank.
* We will also consider candidates from a Management Consultancy or Big-4 Accountancy background if you can demonstrate sufficient interest and experience in investing.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
* Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French or another language is a plus.
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, or other financial data platforms.
