At the heart of our finance department in Fribourg, you will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records of our internal clients, while ensuring compliance with current standards. You will also act as the primary point of contact for our various partners to ensure optimal communication and share your expertise on accounting matters.
**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
**Main Accounting Tasks**
- Monitor, reconcile and clear all GL accounts
- Monitor and reconcile in/in and interco transactions
- Prepare and record closing entries
- Prepare, explain and comment monthly reporting
- Perform and present the analytical review of monthly accounts
- Act as a point of contact for our partners (branches, Maisons, functions) for general accounting matters
- Document ICS controls
- Promote the Group accounting rules
**Specializations**
- Monitor general accounting
- Apply and enforce group accounting procedures
- Ensure the implementation of the internal control system in force
**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?**
Passionate about accounting and at ease with figures, you namely stand out for the characteristics below:
**Education, experience and core competencies**
- CFC employé-e de commerce with maturity or equivalent
- Min. 5 years- experience in accounting, ideally with GL responsibilities and preferably in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, CO, and Group)
- Excellent command of the usual IT tools (MS-Office)
- A first experience on SAP is a great asset
- Speaking French fluently, you have knowledge of English. Any other language is an asset
