For one of our clients, a global leading company specialized in medical devices, we are looking for a Business Development Manager, based in the german part of Switzerland. 

(Need to be fluent in German, swiss-german would be a plus)


Your tasks: 


As a Business Development Manager, you will be a key player in achieving our growth targets and developing our business in the Swiss German part of Switzerland.

  • You will act as the expert for molecular extraction and detection solutions, analyzing strategic decision making in hospitals and private laboratories.
  • Identify and convince decision makers, Key Opinion Leaders, and influencers, proposing technical and clinical solutions.
  • Work closely with account managers to create synergy with other products, leading to efficient teamwork.
  • Participate in pre-tender works and provide tender’s support.
    Your profile: 
     
    • Scientific background (Bachelor/Master or PhD in biology / infectious disease), preferably with a specialization in Molecular.
    • Proven experience in business development, sales, particularly in the life sciences sector with a focus on clinical applications.
    • Strong clinical background – laboratory process / healthcare experience is a plus.
    • Familiarity with infectious disease diagnosis, treatment and/or microbiology/virology methods is desirable.
    • Fluent in English and German is a must, French and/or Italian a plus. Native Swiss German is a geat plus. 
    • Excellent business and strategic planning and execution capabilities with drive for results.
    • Willing to travel 60% of the time
