## Job Description ##
* Manage and maintain general ledger accounts.
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
* Prepare financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Handle VAT and direct tax filings, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
* Collaborate with other accounting teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
## The Successful Applicant ##
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, ideally with a DECF or equivalent qualification. They must be proficient in both English and French and have a solid understanding of VAT and direct taxes. Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
